Salisbury lost the ball and the lead late in the third quarter as host St. Peter's got its first win of the season, 26-23, last night in Jersey City, N.J.

The Sea Gulls (3-4) led 23-20 with 1:07 left in the third quarter. On the second play of the Salisbury drive, Anthony Bey forced a fumble and returned it 61 yards for a Peacocks touchdown.

Jamar Garner gave Salisbury its third lead of the game at 23-20 on a 16-yard touchdown run with 7:06 left in the third.
