Flu shots -- The Baltimore County Department of Aging will offer flu shot clinics, which are free for Medicare B subscribers, through Nov. 9 at area senior centers. For a list of times and locations, call 410-887-2594.

Stroke prevention and osteoporosis screenings -- Life Line Screening offers ultrasound and bone-density screenings to gauge risk of a stroke or osteoporosis, at various locations in the Baltimore area this month.
