Your're Such a Critic

THE QUESTION Comedian Robin Williams' new movie Man of the Year opens today. What is your favorite Williams movie and why?

you're such a critic

WHAT YOU SAY

Dead Poets Society is my favorite Robin Williams movie. Would that all parents, teachers, students - indeed all of us - "seize the day" and learn to think for ourselves instead of following the crowd, media or common culture. The timeless message this movie brought is vital to our society, and too many did not get the message. And the ending ... gets me every time.

CINDY SEXTON, WHITE MARSH

My favorite Robin Williams movie is Good Will Hunting. Robin Williams portrays the insightful counselor who intervenes with Matt Damon (Will Hunting). Robin Williams' role in this movie clearly depicts to me the breadth of his talent. He is not only funny in this movie, but also very sensitive, thoughtful, and introspective.

GAIL ALESSI, OWINGS MILLS

It is sort of a toss-up between Patch and Mrs. Doubtfire but in Mrs. Doubtfire Robin Williams was able to exhibit all the facets of his talents ... humorous, seriousness, poignancy.

FREDA GARELICK, BALTIMORE

My favorite movie of Robin Williams is Mrs. Doubtfire. I actually believed he was a woman.

DONNA CURRAN, BALTIMORE

THE NEXT QUESTION Where is the best theater in Baltimore to watch a movie - and why?
