Pallotti girls top St. Mary's in soccer

Senior striker Annesia Faulkner scored her 99th and 100th career goals yesterday, leading Pallotti past Saint Mary's, 4-0, in girls soccer.

The win kept the third-ranked Panthers (12-1, 8-0) in first place in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference.

No. 4 McDonogh 1, No. 8 IND 1 -- IND's Amanda Kolb scored the game-tying goal at the halfway mark of the second half as the Indians (10-2-2) and Eagles (8-3-2) played to a tie.

Boys soccer

No. 4 Mount Hebron 4, Glenelg 0 -- Mike Napolitano had a goal and an assist for the Vikings (9-0-2).

Hammond 1, No. 5 River Hill 0 -- Abbas Ebrahimnejad scored the game-winner with 22 seconds left as the visiting Bears upset the Hawks (6-1-2).

No. 6 Fallston 2, Bel Air 0 -- Andy Stromberg and Franky Alyward scored for the visiting Cougars (10-1-1).

Field hockey

No. 2 South River 1, No. 5 Broadneck 0 -- Stephanie Peterson scored with 8:42 left to lift the Seahawks (10-1) over the Bruins (9-1).

No. 10 Century 1, No. 12 Westminster 0 -- Jess Salzman scored with 9:57 left in the first half to lift the visiting Knights (9-1) to victory over the Owls (8-1).
