Baltimore's native Ruff Ryder DMX brings hardcore rap to Sonar on Saturday. DMX is famous for his terse, barking delivery and intensely poetic lyrics. After bursting onto the scene in LL Cool J's "4,3,2,1" and Mase's "24 Hours to Live," DMX became the first artist to have his first four records debut at No. 1.

Doors open at 8 p.m. at Sonar, 407 E. Saratoga St. Tickets are $35. Call 410-327-8333 or go to ticketmaster. com.
