Dining For $25 Or Less

October 05, 2006|By Karen Nitkin | Karen Nitkin,Special to the Sun

Nak Won, a cheerful year-old Korean restaurant, seems to host a crowd every night. And no wonder - the food is inexpensive and delicious, the setting brightly lit, spacious, clean and inviting.

Speaking or reading Korean is not a requirement for eating there, but it definitely gives diners an advantage. Customers who don't speak Korean will be greeted in broken English and given a menu with handwritten English interpretations of the entrees. Glasses of warm tea will be offered.
