Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shootings -- Police were seeking three men in the drive-by shooting at 9:30 p.m. Monday of a 21-year-old man and 16-year-old boy in the 3000 block of Janice Ave. The man was shot in the stomach and buttocks and the boy in the right leg. Both were treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Arrest -- Braynell Gilchrist, 21, of the 2400 block of Wilgray Court was arrested Monday in the 2500 block of Lauretta Ave. on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the shooting Sept. 15 of David Galloway, 20, in the 2300 block of Norfolk Ave.


Armed robbery -- A 19-year-old female Peabody Institute student was walking near East Branch Lane at Mount Vernon Place about 10 p.m. Monday when she was stopped by a man who pressed a gun against her head and robbed her of two cell phones.

Drug arrests -- Two Brooklyn, N.Y., brothers were arrested Monday by Maryland Transportation Authority Police and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. The two were northbound on Interstate 95 when the driver was stopped for a seat belt violation. In the car, police found $9,341, a digital scale with cocaine residue and 250 empty plastic bags. Held on $10,000 bail each were Brandon Scott Morris, 19, and Korey Brian Morris, 24.
