Aon Consulting named Melissa Burke local practice leader for the firm's Baltimore/Washington communications practice. She will be based at the Baltimore office.

Avatech Solutions appointed Bruce White as head of the infrastructure solutions group of the Owings Mills-based design automation and technology services company.
