Fresh off its most dominating performance of the year, Navy appears primed to confront its first season-within-a-season test of 2006. And the Midshipmen will try to make history while doing it.
If they travel to Colorado Springs and beat Air Force again Saturday, the Mids will have a leg up on their fourth consecutive Commander in Chief's Trophy. That has never been done at Navy, which is 6-0 against Air Force and Army over the past three seasons. What's more, the 4-1 Mids have never beaten Air Force on its home field twice in a row.
