BOSTON -- Orioles first baseman Kevin Millar doesn't hide his infatuation with this city or its baseball team. He played for three seasons in a Red Sox uniform, becoming a cult hero in 2004, when he helped lead Boston to its landmark World Series victory.

Just a day earlier, Millar commandeered Boston manager Terry Francona's office before the game and wrote out lineup cards with his name on them.
