A man was fatally shot late last night in Baltimore's Washington Village neighborhood - the city's 201st homicide victim this year, police said.

Southern District officers responding to a report of a person shot about 10 p.m. found the victim in the 500 block of Parkin St., suffering from wounds to the back and head, police said.

The man, whose identity was withheld pending notification of family members, was taken by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died a short time later, police said.

Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the shooting.
