No. 4 Bryn Mawr holds off Towson

Allie Emala and Annie Thomas scored for Bryn Mawr and Abigail Bisbee made four saves to give the No. 4 Mawrtians a 2-1 win over host Towson in field hockey yesterday.

Bryn Mawr (5-2) went up 2-0 five minutes into the second half on Emala's shot from the top of the circle.

Caitlin Powers cut the lead to one for the Generals (3-3-1) with 6:25 to play, but the Bryn Mawr defense thwarted Towson's comeback attempt.

No. 5 Fallston 2, North Harford 1 -- Lindsey Puckett tied the game for the Cougars (7-1) with 14:44 left and Gabby Antinozzi scored the game-winner two minutes later as Fallston rallied to beat the Hawks (3-4).

Boys soccer

No. 12 Dulaney 1, Eastern Tech 0 -- Senior Erich Brown scored on a pass from Angel Draganov in the 71st minute to lift the host Lions (2-1-1).

Girls soccer

No. 6 C. Milton Wright 2, Mercy 1 -- Kylie Gaylen and Lindsay Malpass each scored in the first half to propel the Mustangs (4-0).

No. 13 IND 3, Dulaney 1 -- Senior Becky Fraser had three assists to lead the host Indians (4-1-1) past the Lions.
