Orioles' attendant keeps going, going ...

Ernie Tyler started his career with the Orioles in 1960. The 82-year-old umpire's attendant has taken care of the crew for 46 years and has worked 3,727 consecutive games.

"That's a lot of games, but you know what, it doesn't seem like it," he says. "Time went fast. I like being here."

His vigor is evident: He sprints to and from the dugout several times an inning.

"I'll be 83 when the season starts in April, but I don't feel that age," he says.
