Pivotal tests await 3-0 Mids

With a stretch of telling competition awaiting his team, Navy coach Paul Johnson wondered if the Midshipmen finally would combine focus and aggressiveness while eliminating the offensive mistakes that hampered the Mids before their first road trip.

Saturday night's 37-9 rout at Stanford not only ruined the reopening of the Cardinal's stadium, but it also gave the Mids a 3-0 record for the third time in the past 26 years. Navy schooled Stanford (0-3) in every facet of the game after beating East Carolina and Massachusetts by a combined six points.
