Nature programs available for all ages

Eden Mill Nature Center is offering recreation programs for all ages at 1617 Eden Mill Road, Pylesville.

"Bird Banding" from 7 a.m. to noon Friday and Sept. 29. Families can watch as bird banders capture and release birds for this habitat-use study. Free.

"Junior Naturalists" for ages 6 to 8 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. $5 for members and $6 for nonmembers. The topic is insects.

Registration is required for all programs.

Baton twirlers can register for fall

Applause of Bel Air Baton Twirling Corps will hold registration for the fall session during the first class from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at Bel Air Middle School.

Instruction is available for all twirling abilities. Cost varies.
