Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Southeastern

Burglary/arrest -- Stephen Cioffioni of the 200 block of S. Wolfe St. was arrested Sunday evening and charged with breaking into Tienda y Restaurante La Guadalupana. An employee of the business in the 500 block of S. Wolfe St. found an intruder on the third floor of the building and called police. A door had apparent been pried open, and police reported finding two screwdrivers in the suspect's possession.

Assault/arrest -- Patricia Stanback, 30, was arrested and charged with striking her sister, Christina Stewart, 29, in the head with a 1-liter beer bottle Sunday afternoon. The sisters, who live with their mother in the first block of S. Kresson St., apparently got into an argument there before the younger woman was struck, police said. The victim refused medical treatment.

Larceny -- A silver bike was stolen from a water taxi docked in the 1700 block of Thames St. sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Sunday. Water taxi operator Drew Read told police someone cut the cable lock off the bike.

Northeastern

Home invasion/assault -- Police arrested a juvenile who they believe kicked open the door of a home in the 2800 block of Harford Road about 5:20 p.m. Sunday, assaulted one of the occupants and fled. The suspect was arrested in the 2800 block of Tivoly Ave., around the corner from the victim's house.

Western

Armed robbery -- A man displaying a handgun approached a woman who had just parked her car in the 2900 block of Parkwood Ave. about 7 p.m. Sunday, and shouted, "[Expletive], you know what it is," before taking about $3,500 worth of jewelry, cash and electronics from the victim. The thief fled on foot with her cell phone, about $100, a 2 1/2 -carat diamond ring and eight bracelets.

Baltimore County

Towson

Burglary -- A red Schwinn 10-speed mountain bike was stolen from the backyard of a home in the 200 block of Stanmore Road between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Essex

Burglary -- A resident of a home on Hawthorne Road found an unknown man in his kitchen about 3:40 a.m. Sunday. The intruder, described as in his 30s, fled.

Burglary -- Video games, DVDs and $500 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 100 block of Alberge Lane by someone who entered through a door.

Franklin

Burglary -- A furnace and heater coil were stolen from a house under construction in the first block of St. Thomas Lane between Aug. 29 and Sept. 4. They were valued at $2,500.

Pikesville

Burglary -- A computer, jewelry, a TV, DVDs and a VCR - all worth nearly $8,000 - were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 8300 block of Church Lane.
