ISSUE:

After fights last week at Annapolis High School that ended with 18 arrests, the school beefed up security, including the number of police officers, at Friday's football game. A year ago, a shooting during a football game at Annapolis prompted school district administrators to move the kickoff from 7 or 7:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. countywide. This year, Anne Arundel County is starting football games at 6:30 p.m.
