Manekin LLC has broken ground on the third midrise office building at Waters Edge Corporate Campus.

The $60 million mixed-use project is being developed with Clark Turner Cos. at U.S. 40 and Route 543 in Belcamp.

The five-story office building at 4694 Millennium Drive will have 100,000 square feet of rentable space overlooking the Bush River.

Designed by DR Brasher, the structure will feature brick and metal panels, coated glass windows and an energy-efficient HVAC system.

Manekin provides the leasing, construction and property management services, and shares development responsibilities with Clark Turner, which also is developing townhouses and condominiums on the site.

The 184-seat restaurant will be located off Route 24, near Putt Putt Fun Center and BJ's. The restaurant will employ about 70 people. A grand opening is scheduled for December.

The restaurant is owned by Steven and Linda Vitali of Churchville. The new staff will undergo training at the Country Kitchen headquarters in Madison, Wis.

Country Kitchen also has co-branded with Breadeaux Pizza.

Country Kitchen, which began in 1939 as a diner in Cincinnati, has grown to more than 250 full-service family restaurants.
