Police seek suspect in fatal stabbing

Baltimore County police are looking for a man suspected in the stabbing death of a Randallstown man last month.

On Aug. 13, officers responded to a call for a fight outside the Rush Hour Bar in the 9800 block of Liberty Road in the Randallstown area about 1:45 a.m. officials said.

There, police found a large crowd and learned that Karim Cross, 27, of the 3800 block of Nemo Road had been stabbed and had been taken by friends to Northwest Hospital Center. He was transferred to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died, police said.

Police said they know of no motive for the stabbing.

The suspect was described as a man in his mid- to late 20s, bald or with a shaved head, with facial hair that is thin to medium in thickness.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP.

Police response to be reviewed

Police will review officers' responses to a complaint this summer about shots fired into a Randallstown home, authorities said.

A man was arrested on charges that included assault after shots were fired early Thursday into the home, in the 9200 block of Allenswood Road, but police said they received calls in June and July about shots being fired into the same house.

"The captain will be reviewing the officers' performance in response to the concern of the resident," said Bill Toohey, a county police spokesman.

Sean Kusterer, 20, of the 3700 block of Eastman Road in Randallstown was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, police said.
