Howard County police have identified a homicide victim whose skeletal remains were found by hunters in January in a wooded area in Jessup. Anber Gumercindo Juarez-Sanchez, 18, of the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring, was last seen Aug. 21, 2005, according to Montgomery County police, who received the missing-person report three days later. The remains were found off Mission Road near Concord Drive on Jan. 7, and a medical examiner later determined that the victim was beaten to death.
