See Weil's work at Historic Oakland

Carol Weil, a Howard County interior decorator, has completed the design and installation of draperies in four rooms of Historic Oakland, 5430 Vantage Point Road, Columbia.

Weil submitted a winning bid to drape 23 windows in the renovated 1811 mansion. Her work can be seen in the main foyer, two meeting rooms, the library and the men's and women's lounges.

Weil is principal of CLW Designs Inc.

Brzozowski's design appears in magazine

Susan Brzozowski of Ellicott City, a freelance designer, has had her design, "Halloween Bash," included in the September issue of CardMaker magazine.

The former high school mathematics teacher crafts paper, cards, apparel, home decor, books, jewelry and other items.

Matlock named Realtor of the Year

Shirley Matlock of Re/Max Advantage is the Howard County Association of Realtors' Realtor of the Year.

Adele Lurie of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the Community Service Award winner, and Sharon Wilkerson, also of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, is Rookie Realtor of the Year.
