Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley's gubernatorial campaign is expected to report that it raised just more than $455,000 between Aug. 9 and Aug. 27, aides said.

The report, to be filed with the Maryland State Board of Elections today, is expected to show that O'Malley and his running mate, Del. Anthony G. Brown, a Prince George's County Democrat, will have $4.6 million in cash on hand. O'Malley's opponent, Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., is expected to release his fundraising totals today.

Ehrlich has maintained a fundraising advantage. In a report filed Aug. 15 that covered the first eight months, the incumbent and his running mate, state disabilities secretary Kristen Cox, reported having $8.7 million in the bank, compared with $5.1 million for O'Malley and Brown.

Today's report is the last before the Sept. 12 primary.
