Things to watch

Position / / Offensive line. This group has been heavily criticized since its poor showing in Minnesota. It'll be interesting to see how the line reacts if the Washington Redskins decide to blitz in the starters' brief appearance.

Veteran / / Running back Musa Smith. An impressive start to the preseason led to Smith starting in place of injured Jamal Lewis. But Smith didn't fare well with the starters last week, carrying seven times for 11 yards and then blaming the offensive line for not opening holes.

Rookie / / Cornerback Ronnie Prude. The undrafted rookie has risen to become the team's No. 4 corner. But he has yet to lock up a roster spot despite leading the team with three passes broken up this preseason.

On the bubble / /Quarterback Brian St. Pierre. He hurt his chances to secure the No. 3 quarterback spot last week, when he fumbled and threw an interception. His quarterback rating this preseason is 27.8.

Injury report / / RB Jamal Lewis (hip), OL Brian Rimpf (hamstring) and safety Gerome Sapp (intestinal infection) are not expected to play.
