August 28, 2006|By Richard Irwin

A Pennsylvania man was killed early yesterday when his pickup truck ran off Mount Carmel Road near Hereford, struck a utility pole and overturned, Baltimore County police said.

James Robert Eybs, 28, of the 100 block of Hollow Road in Stewartstown was driving a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup east on Mount Carmel just south of Gunpowder Road shortly after midnight when he lost control of the vehicle, which also struck a fence and came to rest in a pasture, police said.

Eybs, the lone occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
