Things to watch

Position / / Punter. Coach Brian Billick said he's pleased with the competition but there's not much to like. Rookie Sam Koch, who is still the favorite, has averaged 36.9 yards on seven punts, including just one inside the 20-yard line. Veteran Leo Araguz has not made much of a case for himself either, averaging 37.5 yards on four punts and placing two inside the 20.

Veteran / / Running back Mike Anderson. With Jamal Lewis out with a hip injury, Anderson could see his most action of the preseason. He has been the most disappointing of the top three backs, managing 25 yards on eight carries and failing to break a run longer than 5 yards.

Rookie / / Receiver Demetrius Williams. The fourth-round pick looked impressive during training camp and could still make a push for the No. 3 receiver job. He made three catches for 43 yards in the preseason opener before getting shut out in last week's game.

On the bubble / / Middle linebacker Mike Smith. The backup to Ray Lewis is tied for third on the Ravens with seven tackles. He continues to battle Tim Johnson and Dennis Haley for one of the last remaining linebacker spots.

Injury report / / RB Jamal Lewis (hip), OL Brian Rimpf (hamstring), S B.J. Ward (head) and WR Matt Cherry (shoulder) are not expected to play. S Gerome Sapp (illness) is a game-time decision.
