The BAC Zone -- Designate a Driver Campaign: This anti-drunken-driving campaign teaches fairgoers about driving safety through a computer-simulated "night out on the town" program, fatal vision goggles and the Impaired Driving Simulator, which allows individuals to sit in a computerized driver's seat and try to control all aspects of an intoxicated driving situation. Participants must be 21 or older. The event runs 11 a.m.-7 p.m., tomorrow through Sunday and Sept. 1 through Sept. 4, in front of the Cow Palace. The Impaired Driving Simulator will be available tomorrow through Sunday only.
Thoroughbred Horse Racing: Enjoy eight days of thoroughbred racing, Saturday through Sept. 4. There will be no races on Monday or Tuesday, but all other days will feature races starting at 1 p.m. at the Grandstand.
University of Maryland Agricultural Fair Tours and Birthing Center: Agriculture professors and students will provide daily fairground tours and educate fairgoers on animals and exhibits. The Birthing Center, where spectators can observe the birth of calves and piglets, will be open daily in the Cow Palace.

Raven Symone: The pop singer and Disney Channel star hits the Racetrack Infield's stage at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. Infield opens at 6:30 p.m. Concert is free with fair admission.
Chris Cagle: The country music star performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on the Racetrack Infield stage. Infield opens at 6:30 p.m. Concert is free with fair admission.
