thesartorialist.blogspot.com

What's the point? -- Certainly, you've spent some time checking out the wit and wisdom of the gals over at gofugyourself.com, which takes aim at celebrities who make clothing missteps. The Sartorialist takes a different tack - taking photos of and writing about the fashion choices of real people on the streets in New York. And rather than pointing out the bad, most of the posts either give props for interesting, flattering choices or suggest tweaks (shortening a jacket by half an inch, etc.) that would take an outfit to a new level.

What to look for --The site definitely has some credibility - the writer was recently chosen to cover the spring 2007 women's fashion shows for Style.com. But even minus that, it's nice to take a look at what caught the writer's eye and give your own closet another once-over.
