After a recent sneak preview at the Charles Theatre of The Hill - a six-part, inside-Washington series that begins airing tonight at 9 on the Sundance Channel - the producers, director and four leading cast members stood in a line and soaked up the audience's applause.

The Hill airs at 9 tonight and the next five Wednesdays on the Sundance Channel.
