Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Central

Drug arrests -- Undercover police officers arrested three men and three women Sunday night on drug possession charges at a parklike area used by homeless people in the 100 block of N. Front St., near City Hall. Seized were small quantities of heroin and crack cocaine, said Lt. Fred Roussey, a district shift commander. Roussey said drug activity in the park, known by police as "Tent City," had been under investigation for several days.

Carjacking -- A 38-year-old man had stopped his car for a traffic signal in the 1000 block of Cathedral St. about 3 a.m. Sunday when a gunman threatened to kill him, ordered him out of the 2000 Ford Focus and drove it away. A short time later, the car was found unoccupied in the 900 block of McCulloh St.

Theft -- Computer equipment and a global positioning device were stolen Sunday from a 2003 Mazda parked in the 600 block of Pitcher St.

Attempted robbery -- Police were seeking a man with a knife who forced his way into an apartment in the 1500 block of Eutaw Place about 1 a.m. Sunday and attempted to rob the occupants. After an altercation, the intruder fled empty-handed.

Northwestern

Shooting -- A 37-year-old man was standing in front of a house in the 3900 block of Norfolk Ave. about 11:30 p.m. Sunday when someone fired several shots, hitting him in both legs. The victim was admitted to Sinai Hospital.

Southern

Burglary -- Someone entered a house in the 2500 block of Maisel St. between Sunday night and yesterday morning through a rear door and stole video games and accessories valued at $1,000.

Western

Stolen vehicle -- A gold-colored, two-door 1990 Nissan with tags 4AD E65 was stolen over the weekend in the 5300 block of Carriage Court.

Baltimore County

Essex

Burglary -- A black motorized scooter valued at $1,100 was stolen from a garage in the 13100 block of Cherwin Road on Saturday or Sunday.

Parkville

Burglary -- Someone broke into Atlas Personal Trainers in the 8800 block of Belair Road between 2 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. yesterday and stole 150 compact discs, a television, a stereo receiver and a CD player.

Burglary -- An undetermined amount of money was stolen early yesterday from several lottery and video games at the VFW hall in the 8100 block of Harford Road.
