LINE TROUBLES

The offensive line looked shaky at times. Both Rob Droege and Robin Meadow moved before the snap, drawing a whistle from an exasperated coach Brian Billick. On another play, linebacker Roderick Green got past tackle Michael Kracalik and would've sacked Kyle Boller.

WILLIAMS DOES IT AGAIN

In what is becoming a daily feature, rookie wide receiver Demetrius Williams registered another eye-opening catch. From the 40-yard line, quarterback Brian St. Pierre floated a pass to Williams, who held off cornerback Duvol Thompson with his right hand, hauled in the ball with his left hand, and ran the remaining 20 yards into the end zone.

SIGN OF THE TIMES

Leo Araguz appears to have fallen behind rookie Sam Koch in the competition to be the team's punter. Koch, not Araguz, was the holder for kicker Matt Stover on his attempts. Araguz held for Aaron Elling. Later, Araguz bobbled a snap and launched a low punt with little hang time.

QUOTABLE

"Thanks, P.J."

Running back Mike Anderson to rookie P.J. Daniels after offensive coordinator Jim Fassel reminded the backs that they had already reached their quota for fumbles this month. Daniels fumbled twice, losing one, during Friday night's 17-16 preseason loss to the New York Giants.

INJURIES

Offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden (personal reasons), guard Brian Rimpf (hamstring), safety B.J. Ward (migraines) and tight end Rob Abiamiri (calf) did not practice.
