Fundraiser benefits Volunteer Carroll

Volunteer Carroll is aiming to raise money for its daily operations from the Dream Dinners fundraising program by making it easier for families to have dinner together.

Volunteer Carroll is a resource for residents interested in volunteer service.

The Eldersburg Dream Dinners, part of a chain of "fix-and-freeze" businesses, holds sessions where customers create 12 healthy entrees for the freezer in less than two hours, providing their families with a fresh gourmet alternative.

Individuals can sign up for a session between Wednesday and Sept. 16 and Dream Dinners will donate approximately 8 percent of the total session fees to Volunteer Carroll.
