August 10, 2006

Houston native and the Ravens' fourth-round draft pick P.J. Daniels was a two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference tailback for Georgia Tech. He finished his college career ranked fourth in school history in rushing yards (3,346) and third in rushing touchdowns (23).

Your full first name is Prince. Is there a story behind that? My father's name is Prince, so I'm a Junior. There's nothing significant about that, just my father's from Ghana and that's his name. Is that where the `J' comes from, Junior? Yeah. That's what I've been called my entire life. I have nicknames and whatever else, but [friends] call me P.J. What do you like to do off the football field? I like to read. I try to learn as much as possible and gain knowledge. I like to play video games, too. What are you reading right now? I haven't had much time to get back to it but Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. What is your favorite book or who is your favorite author of all time? Probably James Baldwin. There was a really good book by him that I read when I was much younger and I still remember some of the poems in it.
