Man found shot dead on Parklane neighborhood street

A 36-year-old man was found shot to death early yesterday on a street in Baltimore's Parklane community, city police reported.

Northern District officers responding to a 911 call reporting a man lying on the ground near Edgecombe Circle Elementary School in the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle N. about 1:30 a.m. found Horace Joseph Fauntleroy bleeding from at least one gunshot wound.

Fauntleroy, whose address was not available, was pronounced dead at the scene by the crew of a city Fire Department ambulance.

Police had made no arrest, and Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
