Adam Loewen gave the Orioles a glimpse of a better future yesterday against the New York Yankees.

In that promised land, high-priced Yankees hitters would look foolish chasing the pounding fastballs and swooshing curves of a home-grown left arm. Sellout crowds would cheer as Orioles bats backed up masterful pitching with a few timely hits.
