Hasim Rahman will climb through the ropes Saturday with his wife's prayers, his eldest son's admiration and the names of his other two children sewn into the sides of his trunks.

Rahman, heavyweight champion from Baltimore, defends his World Boxing Council title against Oleg Maskaev in Las Vegas. As ever, his wife and kids will be ringside, hunkered forward, fists clenched, voices raised, rooting Rahman on.

Fight Hasim Rahman (41-5-2, 33 KOs) vs. Oleg Maskaev (32-5, 25 KOs) for WBC heavyweight title Saturday, approx. 11 p.m., Las Vegas
