HAROLD "TED" SCARLETT, 63 of Salisbury, MD, died Thursday, August, 3, 2006 at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury, MD. Born in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Ralph and Hilda (Twigg) Scarlett. He served in the U.S. Army. He was the owner and operator of Ted's towing service. He was a member of the Delmarva Drag Club, the Eastern Mud Racing Association and the Branch Inn Hunt Club. He is survived by one daughter: Kimberly Watson and her husband Bryan, one grandson, Andrew Watson all of Parsonsburg, a sister: Gertrude Henson of GA and three brothers: Eddie Scarlett and his wife Caroline of Catonsville, MD, Richard Scarlett and his wife Teresa of PA, Kenny Scarlett and his wife Joyce Scarlett of Baltimore, MD, a stepson, Randy Beers and his wife Shelli of Mardela Springs, MD; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Dwayne Scarlett, a sister Helen Neptune and a companion Janice Beers. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury where friends may call Monday, August 7, 2006 from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be Tuesday in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society-Wicomico County Unit, PO Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21801.
