Enjoy free admission to the Baltimore Museum of Art today. Celebrate Free First Thursday at the museum by making art based on the Cone Collection, taking a tour of French masterworks in the collection and listening to the group Klezzazz perform a mix of Jewish, Israeli and Klezmer dance music.

WEIGH IN THE GIANT FISH

Watch weigh-ins at the White Marlin Open in Ocean City Monday through Aug. 11. The world's largest billfish tournament includes competitions in catching white marlin, blue marlin, wahoo, dolphin, tuna and shark. The person who lands the heaviest marlin could win up to $2 million.

BOOK TALK AND SIGNING

There will be a discussion and signing of the new book Spirited: Affirming the Soul and Black Gay / Lesbian Identity tonight at the GLBT Community Center. The book features more than 40 essays by African-American gays and lesbians, who recount their struggles with religious-based homophobia. The reading and signing will be by the book's co-editor, Lisa C. Moore, and Baltimore-area contributors to the book.
