On sunny summer days in downtown Annapolis, eating inside almost seems a sin. If the sidewalk tables are full, the next best thing is ordering takeout and sitting on a bench by the boats. Here are four easy-to-eat meals from restaurants near the water.

A decadent sundae with two scoops of German Chocolate Cake ice cream, topped with crushed peanuts, hot fudge and whipped cream, was $4.20. Though there was no cherry on top, this sundae was a sweet way to top off a day in the sun.
