Police report sighting of missing 19-year-old

A young Halethorpe man who was reported missing last week after being warned not to tell police about being robbed was seen in a convenience store in Halethorpe early on the morning of his disappearance, police said yesterday.

Zachary Scott Miller, 19, was seen on video about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Royal Farms store in the 4300 block of Hollins Ferry Road, Baltimore County police said.

Miller was robbed of $30 and a pocket knife July 20, and the robbers warned him not to inform the authorities, police said. One person was arrested on juvenile charges in the robbery, police said, and they are looking for other suspects.

Miller was described as white, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 165 pounds, with a medium build, short blond hair and blue eyes, with "Zach" tattooed on his leg. He was wearing a white T-shirt and denim shorts when last seen.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-307-2020.
