One Arundel beach ruled safe

The Anne Arundel County Health Department has lifted its water advisory at Sandy Point State Park's south beach, but warned against contact with the water at its east beach. High bacteria levels were still detected in water samples taken from the east beach yesterday, but swimming is now deemed safe at the south beach, the Health Department reported. An initial health advisory had been issued Saturday.
