Suddenly on July 24, 2006, PRESTON D. Sr., beloved husband of Mary. He is survived by father, Solomon, one daughter, Shantrel, three sons, Shawn, Damon and Preston Jr., one sister, Barbara Bridgeforth Harding, two brothers, Jerome and Linwood, one daughter-in-law, one sister-in-law Stephanie Bridgeforth, two brothers-in-law, Charles Harding and Clarence Ashby, twelve grandchildren, two uncles, six aunts, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. M at the Sharon Baptist Church, Presstman and Stricker Streets with services following. Interment Arbutus Memorial Park.
