Q&a

Justin Green

July 29, 2006|By KATIE CARRERA

This season will be Ravens fullback Justin Green's second in the NFL. Drafted in the fifth round in 2005 from Montana, he played in 12 games in 2005, including four starts. Green had 32 yards on seven receptions as a rookie.

Have you had any embarrassing moments at training camp? "Not quite here yet, other than showing up early. I came up to training camp a day early and no one was here. I was like, `Am I the first guy here?' I got here and they let me know that, no, it doesn't start until tomorrow." Do you play any of the NFL video games? "I'm not really a video game guy. My last video game that I was big on was Sega Genesis, and that's when I was 12 years old." What did you bring to training camp? "Underwear, socks and T-shirts, nothing really. Last year I think I brought my whole wardrobe and it was all in my room, nothing I ever used. So this year I decided to just bring the basics." Favorite sports movie? "The Program I'd have to say. It's a little old school and probably my favorite, blown-up football contact and everything." So how about the opposite, what's your favorite non-sports movie? "Action movies still? Gladiator is my favorite of all time."
