Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Drug arrests -- Two men were arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with possession with intent to distribute at least $10,000 worth of crack cocaine after the driver of their car was stopped by Maryland Transportation Authority Police for following too closely on Interstate 895 near the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel. In the trunk and seat pocket of the 1994 Oldsmobile, police said they found nearly a pound of the drug. Held at Central Booking and Intake Center were the driver, Joseph Shropshire Jr., 26, of Abingdon and the passenger, Kenyon Shawn Westbrook, 26, of the 4500 block of St. Georges Ave. in Baltimore.

Robbery -- A gunman robbed Rap Scallion's Pub in the 3100 block of Dillon St. of an undisclosed sum of money and several packs of cigarettes about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.


Shooting -- A 31-year-old man was in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after being shot several times about 10:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Pearleaf Court.


Theft -- An in-dash stereo system valued at $200 was stolen yesterday from a 1999 Toyota Corolla parked in the 1200 block of N. Calvert St.

Stolen vehicle -- A silver 1999 Chevrolet Malibu with tags LEL 331 was stolen Wednesday in the 1500 block of Maryland Ave.


Theft -- At least 50 video games and their accessories - all valued at $3,000 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2600 block of Druid Park Drive.


Arrest -- Darius D. Buie, 17, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 2500 block of W. Forest Park Ave. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him as an adult with armed robbery. Buie is accused of robbing a woman of $16 and personal property at gunpoint about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of Druid Park Drive.


Burglary -- Power tools and equipment valued at $1,420 were stolen Tuesday from a house under construction in the 1000 block of Sterrett St.

Stolen vehicle -- A gray 2004 Primo motorized scooter was stolen Tuesday from the rear yard of a house in the 1700 block of S. Hanover St.

White Marsh

Robbery -- At least two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 57-year-old man of his wallet and money about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday as the victim was removing items from the trunk of his car outside his home in the 400 block of Patapsco Ave. The robbers rode off in a white Ford with tags 8BT H74, police were told.


Robbery -- Two men and a woman were outside a house in the 200 block of Riverway Court about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when three men, one with a handgun and another a knife, robbed them of $20 and a cell phone.
