Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. -- To save the time of scribbling X's and O's on a dry-erase board during team and staff meetings, Maryland football coach Ralph Friedgen recently transferred all of his plays - formations, shifts, motions, passing and running games - to a PowerPoint presentation.

In the process, the offensive guru even overwhelmed himself.
