MILLARD W. HODGES, 82, died Thursday, July 20, 2006, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law after an extended illness. Born July 10, 1924, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William M. Hodges and Nellie Diviny Hodges. He was the husband of the late Carrie Hodges, his wife of 60 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during World War II. He graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1942. He retired with 37 years of employment with the B & O Railroad as an Area Engineer. He was a member of S.O.T.S. and enjoyed golf, fishing and genealogy. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Kathleen M. and Joseph N. Rohe of Westminster and Ella Jean and Guy Mettle of Greenbackville, Virginia; grandchildren Joseph M. Rohe, Guy Mettle, Jr., Inga Rohe-Prevett, Bradley Mettle and Rebecca Mettle; great-grandchildren Colin Mettle, Anden Mettle, Chloe Mettle, Logan Mettle and Owen Mettle; brother James E. Hodges. Services are private and will be held at Fletcher's Funeral Home, Westminster, MD and interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD. Memorial donations may be made to Carroll Hospice, 95 Carroll Street, Westminster, MD 21157. NANCY J. LENNON, 68, beloved wife of the late Norman W. Lennon. She spent 39 years as a special education teacher, 35 of which in the Baltimore City School System. She loved traveling and music. She was an active member of Rising Sun First Baptist Church. She is survived by 3 children, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, 13 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother a host of relatives and friends Memorial services will be held on July 22, at 10am at Rising Sun First Baptist Church, 2211 St. Lukes Ln Balt.
