Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Victim named -- Police yesterday identified Reuben McFadden, 27, whose address was not available, as the man fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the 900 block of N. Collington Ave.


Victim named -- A woman found dead from a stabbing July 14 in her apartment in the 400 block of W. Franklin St. has been identified as Valerie Chambers, 45.

Homicide arrest -- Nicholas Floyd, 22, of the 1200 block of McCulloh St., an inmate at the Western Correctional Institute in Cumberland, was served with a warrant Tuesday charging him with first-degree murder in the April 4 shooting of Aaron Mackey, 18, in the 600 block of Presstman St.


Arrest -- Donald Gladden, 20, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 1700 block of E. 35th St. on warrants charging him with at least nine armed robberies.


Shooting -- A 22-year-old woman was walking in the 700 block of Appleton St. about 12:15 a.m. yesterday when someone shot her in the left hip. She was reported in fair condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.


Arrest -- Earl Ferebee, 29, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 400 block of E. 31st St. on a warrant charging him with sexually abusing a 5-year-old Brooklyn child between June 16 and June 22.

Shooting -- A 21-year-old man was reported in fair condition at Shock Trauma after he was shot in the head about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Wilhelm St.

Burglary -- Auto repair equipment and auto wheels - valued together at $4,800 - were stolen Tuesday from Crazy Ray's Auto Repairs in the 2800 block of Hawkins Point Road.

Baltimore County


Carjacking -- Police were seeking a woman who robbed a man of his car early Monday at Perring Parkway and Taylor Avenue. After ordering the man to stop about 3:35 a.m., the woman displayed a handgun, robbed the man of $100 and ordered him out of the car. It was found abandoned later in the 900 block of Montpelier St. in Baltimore.


Carjacking -- A 21-year-old motorist was stopped at Taylor Avenue and Collinsdale Road about 1 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, entered his 1994 Jeep Cherokee and robbed him of $40 and a cell phone. The pair then drove the victim to Northern Parkway before forcing him out of the Jeep, which had tags M732012.


Thefts/arrests -- Two Middle River teens were arrested Wednesday and charged as juveniles with stealing two motorized scooters from a house in the 3500 block of Wheelhouse Road and a third scooter from a house in the 100 block of Whistle Stop Road.
