KC's Boogie Blast

Long after coming into the funk/R&B/disco scene in 1973, KC & The Sunshine's Band's music lives on. "That's the Way (I Like It)," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty" and "Get Down Tonight" have been immortalized in movies and commercials and at bar mitzvahs and weddings. Gloria Gaynor will also please crowds with classics such as "I Will Survive." Sister Sledge and the Tavares, best known for "We Are Family," will get the disco party going. They play the Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge, 7800 Cellar Door Drive, Bristow, Va., Saturday. Tickets are $15-$55.50. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Call 410-547-SEAT or visit
