A green Honda Accord slammed into the Mount Hebron Memorial Church of God in Christ in West Baltimore yesterday as Sunday school classes were beginning, police said.

The Honda was eastbound on North Avenue when the driver ran a red light and was hit by a southbound white Mitsubishi Galant, and careened into the brick church at the corner of North Avenue and Bentalou Street just after 10 a.m., police said.

No one at the church was hurt, and the drivers - whose names were not available - were treated for minor injuries, police said.
