In yesterday's editions, The Sun incorrectly reported how $25,000 in grants from the Verizon Foundation would be distributed by the Center for Summer Learning. The money will be distributed to programs across the state.

The football field at the University of Maryland's Byrd Stadium will be lowered 30 inches as part of planned renovations. An article in yesterday's Sports section incorrectly reported the field would be lowered 3 inches. Also, 500 seats and 50 to 60 suites are planned. The article gave incorrect numbers for the new seats and suites.

The Sun regrets the errors.
