`Dwell, Bond, Connect'

Gallery Imperato's new exhibit, Dwell, Bond, Connect, features paintings, photos, drawings, mixed media and sculptures from 13 artists.

Some of the pieces deal with the interior of the human body; others take a more macro approach and use maps to help explore the spaces in which people reside and how members of society relate to each other.

"To some degree it's about people and their interaction and the connections they make," said gallery director Jordan Faye Block.

Dwell, Bond, Connect opens at Gallery Imperato on Saturday and runs through Aug. 19. The reception is 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is at 921 E. Fort Ave. Suite 120. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 1 p.m.-7 p.m. Sundays. Call 443-257-4166 or visit
